The premises are
a Grade II listed medieval hall house built in
1480. In the 16th / 17th
Century additions of rooms, passageways and a first floor were added. It then became a bakery and was run by the
Halls family and then Ackeroyds.
It has a vaulted ceiling and still retains the original ovens
shown in the picture to the right.
The present owner, Maurice, has been in the premises since 1997.
