6th January 2013 - A Celebration of Roger Harrison’s Retirement.  A very special Epiphany Evensong, which was Roger’s final appearance was followed by a reception and presentation in St. Helen’s, to celebrate Roger’s outstanding contribution.  Musical Director and Organist, Roger Harrison, retired after almost 20 years of service

Wheathampstead Community Orchard

On Sunday 6 January, three Saddleback pigs took up residence on the site of the Wheathampstead Community Orchard. Over the next few months, their job is to clear the ground of weeds, including the roots, so the site will be ready to plant the new trees next winter.
