James Marshall
|
|
James Marshall was a far-sighted man. In 1719 he bequeathed
his estate of houses and land to assist "poor men's children ... as
apprentices in some trade."
Times have changed but the spirit of James Marshall's bequest lives
on.
The James Marshall Foundation has been helping young people from
Wheathampstead and Harpenden to achieve their dreams for over 275 years. |
