About Jackie

Jackie Stevenson, originally from Scotland and now living in Hertfordshire, studied drawing and painting at the world famous Glasgow School of Art.

She works in a variety of media including watercolour, gouache and  acrylics.  Much of her abstract work also includes a combination of collage, inks and pastels to reflect the complex nature of her subjects.

Her work is evocative of the changing nature of the landscape, whether it is the moors and fells of the Lake District of the Scottish borders, the varied coastline of Britain or the countryside of Hertfordshire.
